How to Delete the Cost center in SAP

How to Delete the Cost center in SAP, using T code: KS04.

Cost Center: It is an organizational unit within controlling area and it manages costs associated with a specific functional area, department, or activity for internal reporting purpose (As it only captures the costs). Cost element will help here to integrate the CO with FI module.

SAP Controlling – Cost Center Accounting: Click here.

SAP Easy Access: SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Center Accounting -> Master Data -> Cost Center -> Individual Processing – Double Click on Delete.

Give Cost Center, Valid from and to dates.

First Check in Test run and click on execute button.

Now Cost center is ready to delete.

Come back, remove the test run and click on execute button.

System is asking for confirmation to delete the cost center permanently.

Now cost center is deleted.
