How to Delete the Cost Center Group in SAP

How to Delete the Cost Center Group in SAP, using T code: KSH2.

Cost Center: It is an organizational unit within controlling area and it manages costs associated with a specific functional area, department, or activity for internal reporting purpose (As it only captures the costs).

Cost Center Group: It is a higher-level organizational unit that consolidates multiple cost centers with similar characteristics. In other words, it is a “folder” that contains multiple cost centers with similar functionality.

SAP Controlling – Cost Center Accounting: Click here.

SAP Easy Access -> SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Center Accounting -> Master Data -> Cost Center Group – Double click on Change button.

Popup will come, Controlling area and click on continue button.

Give the Cost Center Group and press enter button.

Now click on Cost Center Group and click on select icon

Cost center group selected and click on delete icon.

SAP system asking confirmation before deleting.

Cost object has been deleted.
