How to assign Cost element to Cost object in SAP, using T code: OKB9.
Cost Element: It is an organizational element, which helps to carry or integrate the costs or revenues of CO with finance module.
Cost Center: It is an organizational unit within controlling area and it manages costs associated with a specific functional area, department, or activity for internal reporting purpose (As it only captures the costs). The Cost element will help here to integrate the CO with FI module.
