How to Change the Cost Center Group in SAP

How to Change the Cost Center Group in SAP, using T code: KSH2.

Cost Center Group: It is a higher-level organizational unit that consolidates multiple cost centers with similar characteristics. In other words, it is a “folder” that contains multiple cost centers with similar functionality.

Cost Center: It is an organizational unit within controlling area and it manages costs associated with a specific functional area, department, or activity for internal reporting purpose (As it only captures the costs).

SAP Controlling – Cost Center Accounting: Click here.

SAP Easy Access -> SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Center Accounting -> Master Data -> Cost Center Group – Double click on Change.

Give Cost center Group and press enter button.

Here, I’m changing the Cost Center Group by removing the Cost Center.

Put the cursor on Cost Center and click on select icon.

Now click on Remove icon.

Cost Center removed. Now click on Save button.

The changes have been saved.
