How to Create Bank Account or Account ID in S4 HANA.

House Bank & Bank Account Means: A company deals with a bank for the purpose of making their business transactions. A single House Bank can have one or more Account ID’s (Bank Account in ECC and Bank Account S4Hana) with different currency, GL account etc.

Creation of Bank Account in SAP T code: FI12.

SPRO Path -> Reference IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Bank Accounting -> Bank Accounts -> Define House Banks – Click on Execute.

Click on Position, give company code and press continue button.

Select the company code and double click on House Banks.

Now Select the House Bank and Double click on Bank accounts.

Now Click on Create Bank Account

System asking permission to open in Fiori apps webpage.

Login to FIORI Apps.

Give user id, password and click on Log on.

Under Manage Bank Accounts – Click on New Bank Account.

Give details under General data like Opening date, Company code, Account holder, Region, Bank key, Currency, IBAN, Account number, Account description, Account type.

House Bank Account Connectivity Tab

Click on Add button.

Here we are linking the House Bank and Bank Account Number. And enter all the required details.

Click on save.

We have created the Bank Account using the FIORI apps. Now check the same Bank account in SAP GUI T code: FI12.
