Asset Transfer within Company code in SAP S4 HANA, using T code: ABUMN.

Understanding: Here we are transferring the 10% value of asset from 11001-0 to 11003-0 within the Company code – 1002.

Go to T code: ABUMN.

Header data – Company code, Asset number and Sub asset number.

Transaction data – Accounting principle, Document date, Posting date, Asset value date, Text.

Give the Asset (Existing asset or Can create a new asset as target asset).

Partial Retirement – Amount or percentage, select radio button for reference year acquisition.

Note:

When transferring an asset partially, specify the transfer value, either as a fixed amount (e.g., rupees) or a percentage of the asset’s value.
When transferring an asset with cumulative value from previous and current year acquisitions, specify the transfer year to distinguish between current and prior year assets.
