How to Create User specific Layout in SAP S4 HANA.

In this blog we are going to Create User specific Layout for Vendor Open items in T code: FBL1N (Use any report T code). With this blog, you can create your own specific layout for any kind of SAP S4 HANA report.

User specific Layout?

Note that, User-specific layouts are only visible to the users who have created them.

Go to T code: FBL1N.

Give Vendor account number, Company code and click on Execute button.

The report is currently displayed with the standard layout. However, the user also requires an additional field, ‘ Company code’ and ‘Document Currency’, to be included in the report layout.

Actually the user want her/his own report layout, known as a User-Specific Layout.

Let’s create the user specific layout:

Click on “Change layout” icon.

A popup will appear. Analyze this screen to identify which fields are currently included in the standard report and which ones, such as ‘Company code’ and ‘Document Currency’, are missing.

Select the line from the right side (Hidden fields) and also select the line from left side (Where we want that new field) and then click on “Show selected field” icon.

You can add several fields from the hidden fields simultaneously. Now add one field – “Document currency”.

Let us add one more field – “Company code”.

Click on Copy button.

The layout now displays both ‘Company Code’ and ‘Document Currency’ fields that we have added.

Now click on ‘save layout’ icon.

A popup window will appear.

Give Layout name – SAP96 (Name should start with A to Z), Tick mark for “User specific” , description and then click on save button.

Layout saved successfully.
