How to Create Plant in SAP S4 HANA, using T code: OX10 or SPRO Path.
What is Plant: A plant is a facility where a business stores its raw materials or finished goods. It’s a crucial location for inventory management, as it’s where:
Key Activities Take Place
- Storage Location: Raw materials or finished goods are stored.
- Shipping: Goods are sent to customers after orders are received.
- Receiving: Materials are received when the business places orders with vendors.
In essence, a plant serves as a central hub for managing inventory and fulfilling customer orders.
Go to T code: SPRO.
Click on SAP Reference IMG
SPRO Path – Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Logistics – General -> Define Plant – Click on Execute.
Click on New Entries.
Now give the Plant name, description, country code, city code, factory calendar and click on Address button.
Now the address popup will appear and fill the required details like below. Lastly click on continue button.
Click on save button.
Now customizing request prompt will come, select your request and click on continue.
Plant created successfully.
