How to Create Material Master in SAP S4 HANA – MM01.
Go to T code: MM01.
Select the Industry, Material type and click on “select views”.
Now select the view (Based on your requirement). In this blog, we are just selecting very few items.
Popup will be appeared, give plant, storage location and click on continue button.
Basic data: Give the description for the material master, enter the required information and then go ahead for the next tabs.
Purchasing: Enter required information and go ahead for the next tabs.
MRP 1, 2, 3: Enter required information and go ahead for the next tabs.
Accounting 1: This is the place where, FI consultant can have a look about:
- Valuation class: link of material master with GL accounts (OBYC config settings)
- Standard approach for Pricing control in material master
- V – Moving Average Price – For Raw materials
- S – Standard Price – For Finished goods
Click on save button.
Material master has been created successfully.
