How to Change Assessment Cycle in SAP – KSU2
Assessment Cycle: An assessment cycle in SAP is used to allocate costs from one cost center (or group) to other cost centers, internal orders, or WBS elements, using secondary cost elements. It helps distribute indirect costs (like admin overhead, HR, rent, etc.) more fairly across departments or projects.
Scenario: In this blog, we demonstrate how to modify a assessment cycle in SAP, using a simple example of changing the cost-sharing percentage from 100% to 50%.
Go to T code: KSU2.

Now enter the Assessment Cycle name and start date (Make sure about controlling area), then press the Enter key.

Note: Fields that are greyed out cannot be changed or edited.
Click on the first segment (in our scenario, we are updating the sharing percentage).

Old value: the initial share in percentage is 100% and now this we are changing to 50%.

Updating with new value:

Click on the save button.

Now customizing request prompt will come, select your request and click on continue.

Successfully we changed the assessment cycle in T code: KSU2.
