How to Change Distribution Cycle in SAP – KSV2
Distribution Cycle: A distribution cycle in SAP is used to reallocate primary costs (like rent, utilities, admin expenses) from one cost center (the sender) to one or more other cost centers (the receivers) based on a defined rule, such as percentage or portions.
Scenario: In this blog, we demonstrate how to modify a distribution cycle in SAP, using a simple example of changing the cost-sharing percentage from 75% to 100%.
Go to T code: KSV2.

Now enter the Distribution cycle name and start date (Make sure about controlling area), then press the Enter key.

Note: Fields that are greyed out cannot be changed or edited.
Click on the first segment (in our scenario, we are updating the sharing percentage).

Old value:

Updating with new value:

Click on save button.

Now customizing request prompt will come, select your request and click on continue.

Successfully changed the distribution cycle.
