A Business Area in SAP S/4HANA is an organizational unit used to represent separate areas of operations or lines of business within a company. It allows businesses to generate financial statements—such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements—at a level below the legal entity, enabling segment reporting across different parts of the organization.
SPRO Path – Ref IMG -> Enterprise structure -> Definition -> Financial Accounting -> Define Business Area – Click on Execute.

Click on the New Entries.

Give the Business Area name and description.

Click on New Entries.

Now customizing request prompt will come, select your request and click on continue.
