How to Assign Profit Center to Material Master in SAP S4 HANA.
In SAP, the Profit Center in the Material Master represents the internal business unit accountable for a material’s profitability. It enables internal P&L reporting, accurate cost tracking (such as for Goods Receipts), and performance analysis across product lines or cost centers, helping management understand where profits or losses are generated.
Go to T code: MM02.
Give Material number and press enter button.
Popup will be appeared, just select the ‘Costing 1‘ and click on continue button.
Again popup will come, give plant and click on continue button.
Give Profit Center.
Click on save.
