How to Assign Company code to Company in SAP, using T code: OX16.
Company/Trading partner: In SAP, a company is also referred to as a trading partner. A company group enables the consolidation of financial statements from multiple Company codes.
Company code: Company code is one of the smallest units in a company and it is used to generate external financial statements like Balance sheet and Profit and Loss.

This blog provides a step-by-step guide on assigning a company code to a company in SAP.
Go to T code: SPRO.
SPRO Path -> SAP Reference IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Financial Accounting -> Assign company code to company – Click on Execute.

Click on Position, give company code and click on continue.

Now give company and click on save button.

Customizing request popup will come, select your request and click on continue.
