How to Create the Cost Center Group in SAP, using T code: KSH1.
Cost Center Group: It is a higher-level organizational unit that consolidates multiple cost centers with similar characteristics. In other words, it is a āfolderā that contains multiple cost centers with similar functionality.
Cost Center: It is an organizational unit within controlling area and it manages costs associated with a specific functional area, department, or activity for internal reporting purpose (As it only captures the costs).
SAP Controlling ā Cost Center Accounting: Click here.
Path: SAP Easy Access -> SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Center Accounting -> Master Data -> Cost Center Group – Double click on Create button.

Click on Extras and select Set Controlling Area.

Popup will come, Give Controlling Area and click on continue button.

Now give Cost Center Group and press enter.

Put cursor on Cost center group and click on Cost center.

Give Cost Centers to be maintained in Cost Center Group. Click on save button.

The Changes have been saved.
