How to Create Depreciation Key in SAP, using T code: AFAMA.

Meaning: In Asset Accounting, a Depreciation Key is a vital configuration that defines parameters for depreciation calculations, determining how assets are depreciated over their useful life.

Go to T code: AFAMA.

Popup will come, give chart of depreciation and click on continue button.

Click on New Entries.

Give Depreciation key name and description.

Double click on Assignment of calculation methods.

Click on new entries.

Give Base method, Declined balance method, Period control method, Multi level method.
