How to Create Period Control Method in SAP – AFAMP

How to Create Period Control Method in SAP, using T code: AFAMP.

It is one of the parameters in Depreciation key.

Go to T code: AFAMP.

Popup will come, give chart of depreciation and click on continue button.

Click on New Entries.

Give the data like below screen.

01 -> Pro rata at period start date – When an asset movement occurs, pro rata calculation at the period start date allocates depreciation from the beginning of the period.

Click on save button.

Now customizing request prompt will come, select your request and click on continue.

Data was saved.
