How to Create Tax Access Sequence Keys in SAP S4 HANA, using the T code: OBYZ.
What are Output and Input taxes.
- Output Tax: It is the liability arising from the sale of taxable goods and services, payable to the government.
- Input Tax Credit: It is the tax paid on business purchases, eligible for deduction against output tax liability.
SPRO Path: Reference IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check Calculation Procedure – Click on Execute.
Double click on Access Sequences
Click on continue button.
We can create new or copy from an existing Access Sequence key. In this blog we are going to copy the standard Access Sequence Key – MWST.
Click on position button, popup will come, give MWST and click on continue.
Select the line and click on copy icon.
Now give our name to Access sequence and description.
Click on copy all button.
Press enter button till all the entries copied.
Once copied all the entries, click on save button.
Note: In this blog we have created 2 access sequence keys for both output and input taxes like
- INTX – Input Tax
- OUTX – Output Tax
Customizing request popup will come, select your request and click on continue.
