How to Change the Profit Center in SAP S4 HANA, using T code: KE52.
Profit Center: A Profit Center is an organizational unit within a Controlling Area that manages costs and revenues. This allows for decentralized responsibility and profitability analysis, enabling better decision-making and control. In this tutorial, you will understand how to change the profit center in SAP.
SAP Easy Access: SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Profit Center Accounting -> Master Data -> Profit Center -> Individual Processing – Double Click on Change.
Give the Profit center, Controlling Area and click on Master Data.
In this blog, we are just changing the field “Person Responsible” and then click on save button.

Profit center saved successfully but with Inactive status. We need to activate this profit center then only we can use it.
Now click on continue button.
Again go to T code: KE52.
Give profit center, controlling area and click on Master data.
Click on Activate icon.
Finally, Profit center saved with Active status.
