How to Create Dummy Profit Center in SAP S4 HANA, using T code: KE59.
Understanding: The Dummy Profit Center acts as a defaulter and serves as a temporary Profit Center for cost objects (GL accounts) that are not assigned to a specific Profit Center (Reason can be Unintentional/missed to assign). In simple words, Dummy Profit Center will capture the costs/revenues posted to any cost object (GL accounts) without profit center assigned.
SAP CO – Profit Center Accounting: Click here
Go to T code: KE59.

Give new name to the Dummy Profit Center and click on Basic Data.

Basic Data: Give all the required data like below – Name, Description, Person Responsible, Department, Profit Center Group, Segment.

Company codes tab: In this screen, we will assign the company codes to profit center.

Click on save button.

Dummy Profit Center has been created.
