How to Assign Plant to Company code SAP S4 HANA.
What is Plant: A plant is a facility where a business stores its raw materials or finished goods. It’s a crucial location for inventory management, as it’s where: Key Activities Take Place
- Storage Location: Raw materials or finished goods are stored.
- Shipping: Goods are sent to customers after orders are received.
- Receiving: Materials are received when the business places orders with vendors.
The purpose of linking a plant to a company code is to capture the financial impact of stock movements within the plant, enabling accurate financial reporting and accounting for inventory transactions.
SPRO Path – Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Logistics-General –> Assign plant to company code – Click on Execute.

Click on New Entries.

Enter the required company code and plant data, then press enter button.

click on save button.

Now customizing request prompt will come, select your request and click on continue.
