How to Create Secondary Cost Element in SAP ECC

How to Create Secondary Cost Element in SAP ECC in T code: KA06.

Secondary cost element: This is exclusively used in the CO – Controlling module and are not directly related to FI postings. For instance, Assessment cycle need Secondary cost element. In this blog, we guide you through creation of Secondary cost element in SAP ECC version.

Go to T code: KA06.

Now give the Cost element, valid from and to, and then click on Master data button.

Give cost element name, description, and now cost element Category (select as per your requirement).

Click on save button.

Cost element has been saved.
