How to Delete Asset Master Record in SAP S4 HANA, using T code: AS06.
Meaning: Asset Master Record, that stores comprehensive information about a company’s fixed assets. This record contains essential details such as asset number, description, class, type, acquisition date, value, depreciation method, useful life, location, and responsible person/department. This blog provides a step-by-step guide on deleting the asset master record.
SAP Easy Access Path – Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> Fixed Assets -> Asset -> Delete -> Double click on Asset.
Go to T code: AS06.
Give Asset number, Sub asset number, Company code and click on “Delete” button.
Under Deletion – Select the radio button for “Physically delete asset”.
Click on save button.
Now popup will come to confirm the deletion and just click on Yes.
Asset is now deleted.
