How to Export LSMW in SAP.
Scenario: To carry out cutover activities (Like Master data and Transactional data) in the Production system, the consultant created and successfully tested an LSMW in the Quality server. Now, the consultant wants to export it from Quality to Production.
Go to T code: LSMW.
A popup will appear; click the “Continue” button.
👉 Now, follow the path: Extras → Export Project.
A popup will appear; click the “Continue” button to confirm the project name.
Note: Only the entire project can be exported — individual subprojects or objects cannot be exported separately.
Now, you will see the entire project along with its subprojects and objects listed in LSMW.
Click on the ‘Export‘ icon.
A file dialog will appear on your desktop. Choose the location where you want to save the LSMW export file, then click the “Save” button.
A confirmation popup will appear in SAP, indicating that the LSMW has been exported successfully.
