How to Change Asset Master Record in SAP S4 HANA, using T code: AS02.
Meaning: Asset Master Record, that stores comprehensive information about a company’s fixed assets. This record contains essential details such as asset number, description, class, type, acquisition date, value, depreciation method, useful life, location, and responsible person/department.
SAP Easy Access Path – Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> Fixed Assets -> Asset -> Change -> Double click on Asset.
Go to T code: AS02.
Give Asset number, sub number, Company code and Click on Master data button.
Now change view of an asset master record will be opened.
General Tab – Change the desired field.
Time-dependent Tab – Change the desired field.
Assignments Tab – Change the desired field.
Origin Tab – Change the desired field.
Depreciation Tab – Change the desired field.
Click on save button.
The asset is changed successfully.
